It all started 22 years ago in a church basement – and today, red is still the rule of the night. AIDS Services of Austin’s glamorous benefit, Viva Red, continues its successful run as one of the single largest sources of income for AIDS Services of Austin’s Capital Area AIDS Legal Project.

Following the theme la Vie en Rose this year, Viva Red celebrates “life through rose-colored glasses: happiness, optimism, and joie de vivre.” Decked in red and dressed to impressed, guests can enjoy the many features that make Viva Red a fun and lively experience for all. Headlining live entertainment for the evening, KP and the BOOM BOOM, Austin’s own soulful and funky 7-piece ensemble, is set to deliver their usual electrifying and dynamic sound to the Viva Red stage. Viva entertainment favorite Magician Agustin Tash, longtime ASA supporter DJ Girlfriend and local jazz artists, the Danielle Riech Duo will also be taking stage throughout the evening. Viva Red also features specialty cocktails, libations from some of Austin’s top restaurants and a silent auction including items from Art on 5th, Comal Creek Vineyards, Emerald City Custom Jewelry, NAAVA Salon and Spa and dozens more.
