Music: Stargayzer

2515

My, what a busy gay month! aGLIFF kicks off on Wednesday and Pride is not far behind, and now here comes the inaugural Stargayzer Festival. With a superb lineup of over 100 acts spanning three days and nights, across three stages and even a fourth venue, the Austin festival scene will most likely be inducting yet another not-to-miss  festival onto the city’s live-music circuit.

The first of its kind, Stargayzer, which opens Friday night, celebrates LGBTQA music and performance. The festival is set to deliver acts ranging from musicians and DJs to drag performances, visual artists, and more. New Orleans bounce star Big Freedia, Fade To Mind producer Kingdom, and hometown hero performance artist Christeene are only a few of the adventurous artists set to hit the stage this weekend. Founded and organized by veteran booker and promoter Brett Hornsby, Stargayzer takes the stage Sept.12-14 in the shadow of downtown at Pine Street Station.

Burning Question
