Oh God; another year, another batch of stupid resolutions just waiting to attack your self-confidence and sense of pride. Unless, that is, your resolve includes getting more healthy foods into your diet without cringing, gagging, sighing, or crying. This rich bitch of a smoothie has a mix of protein, antioxidants, potassium, zinc, and a bunch of other good-for-you ingredients, plus a not-too-sweet taste that doesn’t leave you suffering from blender’s remorse.

The Chlorella deVille

In a blender, mix:
About 3⁄4 cup of chocolate almond milk (unsweetened if available)
1⁄2 cup frozen blueberries or strawberries
1 organic banana
Appr. 1 Tbsp. chlorella powder
(spirulina’s totally cool too, if that’s your thing)

Adjust the blueberries and chocolate almond milk as desired to make your smoothie thicker or more liquid.
