Music: Austin City Limits Music Festival

1765

Two weekends of 100+ musical acts, some of Austin’s favorite trailer eats, an art market in the center of the action, all spread across 46 acres of Zilker Park – yes, you guessed it, Austin City Limits is back! As October rolls in, ACL hosts one of the city’s biggest music festivals featuring renowned musicians from all over the country. The line-up spotlights music vets Pearl Jam, Eminem, Interpol and Outkast, alongside breakthrough newcomers like Lorde, Jhene Aiko, and out singer Sam Smith, to name a few of ACL’s impressively massive list of performers.

The festival experience isn’t just limited to music. Some of Austin’s colorful and best-loved food vendors make up Austin Eats, where festivalgoers can enjoy food from Mighty Cone, Chi’Lantro, Torchy’s Tacos, Amy’s Ice Cream, and more. Attendees can also check out local art vendors at the ACL Art Market. The festival also features ACL Cares –designed for select local organizations to gain support from the many festivalgoers in attendance, including Rainforest Partnership and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians– and Austin Kiddie Limits for family-friendly fun.
