Film: The Dog

2287

Here’s a real treat: Check out Alamo Drafthouse’s spiffy new digs on South Lamar for a special screening by aGLIFF of the documentary “The Dog.” The film, which premiered this year at SXSW, tells the stranger-than-fiction story of John Wojtowicz and his libertine adventures romancing both men and women in the late 60s and 70s. Along the way, he turned to bank robbery to show his love (and became the model for Al Pacino’s character in “Dog Day Afternoon”). After the film, hear from co-directors Allison Berg and Frank Keraudren in a live Skype Q&A. L Style G Style is proud to be back as a sponsor of this year’s film festival, running from September 10-14.
