All the glitz and glamour of the fifth annual Austin Fashion Week (AFW) came to a close on Saturday with the AFW Awards. Held at the Austin Music Hall, this year’s AFW Awards honored the upcoming names in fashion with the Rising Star Award and the trendsetting elite with the Trailblazer Award.
This year also saw the reveal of the Austin Fashion Fund, which will provide funding for students interested in fashion and fashion businesses.
The night was also highlighted by fashion shows from Boudoir Queen, Gail Chovan, and Stephen Moser, who turned the runway into a theatrical wilderness. Other spectacles included the Mash-Up Fashion Show, which featured numerous teams of local talent.
