Alright you sexy girls and ghouls, put on your high heels and polish those fangs; it’s time for VAMP, the Octopus Club’s first ever Halloween costume and dance party benefiting the Paul Kirby Emergency Fund at AIDS Services of Austin. Join us Halloween night, Friday, October 31, 8:30 p.m. at Ironwood Hall, 505 E. 7th St., Austin, Texas 78701, for a night of music and fun sure to put a chill—or maybe a thrill—down your spine!
Tickets are available at www.octopusclub.org. Discount prices are available for a limited time, so buy early!
In addition to complimentary cocktails from Austin’s slickest bartenders, VAMPwill feature music from the incredible DJ Seth Cooper. Based in Chicago, hunky DJ Seth has wowed audiences across the U.S., Canada, Brazil, and China. Now he’s coming to Austin exclusively for VAMP!
The incomparable Ms. Kelly Kline will emcee the evening. Ms. Kline is also known as Austin’s Wonder Woman of Drag, and is a superhero fundraiser for HIV/AIDS services in her own right.
The night will also feature a costume contest. Little beasties, you know we would not be caught dead without a fabulous costume for this new signature Octopus Club party! Come dressed to impress!
Finally, we’re raffling off amazing prizes, including a Utah Ski Vacation and an ACL package!
The Octopus Club, a grassroots all-volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for the Paul Kirby Emergency Fund at AIDS Services of Austin through annual events and parties, has been enormously successful, having raised more than $2 million for the fund over 25 years. The club’s most recent events, spring’s ArtErotica and this summer’s final Rubber Duck Party, raised more than $160,000 for the fund.
Now, don’t miss VAMP, Austin’s latest and greatest party for a cause! For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.octopusclub.org.
