The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride is an annual bike ride dedicated to raising funds to help Central Texans facing breast cancer. Join us for an awesome party on Tuesday May 19th as we kick-off the 2015 ride season and our 7th year of helping Central Texans facing breast cancer. We’ll have great food, good music, happy beverages, door prizes, and more!
The kick off marks the beginning the 2015 Mamma Jamma Cycling Training Program, which helps foster a love of cycling in our community by providing beginner skills clinics and fully supported, no drop training rides all through the summer. This program is free and open to anyone who wants to improve their riding skills and to increase the distance they are able to ride in a safe and supportive environment.
The end of the ride season culminates in the annual Texas Mamma Jamma Ride which will be held on September 26th to help families facing breast cancer. Routes from 15 miles on up to 100 will start from the charming community of Martindale, on the banks of the San Marcos River. After the ride, participants and spectators will enjoy a street party on Main Street, with live music, a bike rodeo for kids hosted by Bike Austin, vendors from Frankenbike, food trucks, helmet decorating contest with prizes, and more.
Be part of this amazing event from start to finish! Come to the kick off party on May 19th!
