MajaFest Summer 2015 — Austin’s premier party rock act The Naked Maja brings its rollicking good time and fiercely talented tribe of musicians, along with the city’s noisemaking buzz bands to Empire Control Room & Garage, (located at 606 E 7th St., Austin, Texas 78701), on Saturday, August 8th at 4 p.m. for a hi-fi beach vibe concert celebration. After a successful SXSW showcase at Kebabalicious in early 2015, MajaFest is back by popular demand and looks to keep the jort rock party going! In addition to The Naked Maja, the bill includes fiddle-driven, folk rocker Ruby Jane, electro-pop hook-slingers MCG, psych-blues groovesmiths The Warplanes, proggy disco maestros Wonderbitch, soundscape explorers 365colours, alt-Americana group The Yoots and grass roots troubadours Robbin’ the Wind. Bolstering the already top-notch lighting set up at the Empire Garage, additional lighting rigs and multimedia screens will be brought in to enhance the sense-stimulating ambience.
