Kick off your holiday season at the 8th Annual Lights of Love 5K benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC Central Texas), Saturday evening, December 6, 2016.

Get into the holiday spirit with family and friends through the festive streets of the Mueller neighborhood. Enjoy the scenic trail of holiday lights and caroling voices, while running, walking or strolling in Austin’s favorite holiday race. Most of all, celebrate the season of giving by keeping families of critically ill or injured children together.

The event-filled evening features photos with Santa Claus and Ronald McDonald, food, kids’ crafts, music, hot chocolate and enough holiday spirit to last through the entire season!

Make this a family tradition and don’t forget to bring out your favorite four-legged friend.

Thank you for making the 6th annual Lights of Love 5K and Family Fun Run the best year yet! More than 1,500 braved the freezing weather to run or walk to show their support for families with critically ill or injured children. Together, we have raised more than $275,000 to help Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas continue to do great work for these families.

Lights of Love photos can be viewed on our Flickr page. Results for our timed 5K participants are posted here and winners can pick up their medals at the Ronald McDonald House Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Top Team Fundraisers:

Congratulations to team Pediatric Dental Professionals for exceedeing their goal of $6,500 and being our top fundraising team raising a total of $10,362 to support families with critically ill and injured children. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the table next year!
