Head to Jo’s Coffee Shop for the 9th Annual Chili Cook Off where there will be good food and good music for a great cause, sponsored by Shiner. Proceeds will benefit the 100 Club, a non-profit organization that helps families of fire fighters and law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty by paying their debts and providing education for their children.
Chili tasting starts at noon, with live music provided by Jeff Hughes & Chaparral and Jo’s House Band. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m. Prizes include trophies, Yeti coolers, hotel stays and more! The event also includes a Shiner Biergarten and raffle – winners can take home Shiner branded Yetis coolers and a host of other prizes.
The cost to attend is $20 and includes tastings of all the chili entries. Cold beer and other beverages will be available for sale.
