Guests will enjoy champagne and festive food provided by Rosemary’s Catering, and step back in time into our 19th century Austin home decorated for the holidays. The centerpiece of the museum’s holiday display is the Adams Collection of late 19th and early 20th century decorative objects. Highlights include hand-painted puppets, numerous Santa and animal figurines of lead, and a unique assortment of 20th century Putz houses and bottlebrush trees.
The Austin Carolers, Austin’s only professional caroling ensemble, will entertain, with a singalong at the end of the evening. They sing the songs of Christmas, traditional to pop, with great style and flair, dressed in Victorian-era costume. Many of their arrangements are original, with Austin-centric lyrics. Champagne & Carols will be one of the highlights of The Austin Carolers’ 20th Anniversary season. We will celebrate this achievement with cake at the midpoint of the evening. The Austin Carolers are a quintet made up of: Soprano- Mady Kaye; Alto- Libby Hart Barnes; Tenor- Craig Lowery; Basses- Paul Spikes and Art Kidd.
$35 per person
