AIDS Walk Austin, an annual event produced by AIDS Services of Austin since 1987, benefits 10 AIDS Service Organizations in Central Texas. Each year, thousands of walkers, supporters, and sponsors join together to create awareness, fight stigma, and raise much-needed funds for care services and prevention programs.
A great experience for families, work teams, and even pets, the Walk starts off at Republic Square Park with the Party in the Park, featuring live music from local artists, and tasty food from homegrown food trucks. Once underway, the Walk takes participants on a route through downtown Austin, to the Capitol grounds, and back.
