4th Annual Blues Bash
CARY’s 4th Annual Blues Bash will be Saturday, February 21, at the Rattle Inn, 610 Nueces St., from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. The event is an annual music fundraiser for the Council on At-Risk Youth, known as CARY. Tickets are $10 and available online or at the door.
Performers include Austin’s own Guy Forsyth, Shelley King & Carolyn Wonderland, Leeann Atherton and Ulrich Ellison and The Tribe. The afternoon includes a silent auction with items from restaurants and other local businesses, tickets, signed CD’s and a guitar signed by Ray Benson. Complimentary appetizers will be provided by Central Market, Miles of Chocolate, Upper Crust Bakery and Mama Fu’s.
Funds raised from the Blues Benefit will support PeaceRox, a CARY program that helps troubled youth change aggressive and abusive behavior, such as fighting and bullying, in AISD schools.
